Description:

This is a contract role through Magnit for Consumers Energy in Jackson, Michigan.  This is working onsite in Jackson, MI.

Responsibilities:

  • Designs and implements cloud-based solutions. 
  • Assesses existing configurations and makes recommendations based on product specifications. 
  • configures equipment and software to meet business needs, trains others on the solution, and documents the solution for ongoing support. 
  • Functions as part of a team on larger projects, or individually provides the services on support visits or smaller projects. 
  • provides technical support and Assists with the design of cloud solutions. 
  • Upgrades equipment and software, applies patches, and ensures physical security of data. 
  • designs disaster recovery plans for cloud services.
  • creates effective cloud strategies, including specific performance reports and metrics. 
  • Assists with troubleshooting cloud devices when issues are reported.

Required Skills:

  • Azure app service, front door, VNet design & segmentation, Hybrid Connectivity, Load Balancing & Traffic Distribution, Routing & Traffic Control, DNS, etc. 

Hourly Pay Rate Range (dependent on location, experience, expectation)

The pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay for this position is: $65 - $81/hr
