About the Role

As a Business Process Engineer, you will lead process readiness initiatives, support system launches, and optimize warehouse management systems (WMS) to ensure operational excellence.

What You'll Do

• Function as the Process Readiness workstream owner for warehouses, current and future designs.
• Support system launches, conversions, development, configuration, hardware deployment, bug tracking, resolution, and training.
• Develop, maintain, and document WMS processes and procedures to ensure adherence to standards.
• Lead and edit technical writing of functional specifications and standard operational processes (SOPs).
• Act as Subject Matter Expert on operational processes and collaborate with various teams to understand work methods and labor practices.
• Lead functional testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and operational readiness tests (ORTs).
• Support facility launches and oversee process handoffs to operations management.
• Partner with IT and external vendors to set up data and test environments for code testing.
• Compile and analyze operational data to determine KPI compliance and calculate disruption costs.
• Develop and maintain business process documentation, including current-state and future-state workflow maps.

What You'll Bring

• Demonstrated experience leading requirements-gathering sessions and process optimization initiatives.
• Ability to travel 50-75% of the time, including international travel.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Office365, and process modeling tools like Microsoft Visio.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and time management skills.
• Proactive approach with strong customer service orientation.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Industrial Engineering, MIS, or related discipline, or five years of professional experience in business process re-engineering.
• Proficiency in data mining, SQL, and process modeling tools.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience with tier 1 WMS platforms (e.g., Blue Yonder, Manhattan, RedPrairie).
• Experience with BPMN 2.0 and writing technical business requirements documents.
• Background in warehousing, distribution, transportation, or logistics operations.
• Experience delivering PowerPoint presentations.

This is the pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay for this position: $33.85/hour - $33.85/hour.
