Role Description

This role is a contract assignment at Palo Alto Networks. Contractors will not be employed by Palo Alto Networks but through our trusted staffing partners.  

The Sales Analyst (Contractor) will play a critical role in supporting the sales team by analyzing data, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights to drive business growth.

  • Location - Remote (USA)

  • Duration -  6 months 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Data Analysis: Collect, analyze, and interpret sales data to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities for improvement.

  • Performance Reporting: Develop and maintain detailed sales reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights to stakeholders.

  • Forecasting: Assist in sales forecasting by analyzing historical data and market conditions to predict future sales performance.

  • Process Optimization: Identify inefficiencies in sales processes and recommend improvements to enhance productivity and effectiveness.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with sales, operations, and finance teams to align strategies and ensure data-driven decision-making.

  • Ad Hoc Analysis: Provide support for special projects and ad hoc analyses as needed by the sales leadership team.

To succeed in this role, the Sales Analyst should possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze complex data sets and derive actionable insights.

  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Google Sheets, Google Slides, BigQuery, Tableau, or similar tools.

  • CRM Expertise: Experience with CRM systems like Salesforce for data management and reporting.

  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to present findings and recommendations effectively.

  • Problem-Solving: Ability to identify challenges and propose practical solutions to improve sales processes.

  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in data analysis and reporting.

  • Time Management: Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and build strong working relationships.

Preferred qualifications for the Sales Analyst role include:

  • Bachelor's Degree: In Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field.

  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in sales analysis, business analytics, or a related field.

  • Certifications: Certifications in data analysis tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) or CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) are a plus.

 

Compensation

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location.  For candidates who receive an offer,this is the pay range that Magnit (the staffing agency) reasonably expects to pay for this position: $59/hour to $64/hour. Please note that the compensation information in this posting reflects the hourly wage only and does not include benefits.  Magnit offers Medical, Dental, Vision and 401K.
