About the Role

Our Financial Operations Team is crucial to ensuring our Client’s consolidated invoicing process operates smoothly and efficiently.
The Manager, Financial Operations:
•    leads and guides a team of 5-8 Analysts, and Senior Analysts, responsible for the seamless operation of our Client’s consolidated invoicing process
•    plays a strategic role in overseeing the entire consolidated invoicing process for our clients
•    takes a leadership role in projects within the department, like client implementations or strategic projects for the organization.

What You Will Do

•    Lead and manage a team of Analysts, and Senior Analysts, ensuring their performance aligns with department and company objectives.
•    Oversee the entire consolidated invoicing process, maintaining a high level of accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.
•    Actively participate in resolving escalated issues, working closely with the Financial Operations Management team and onsite Client Services team.
•    Ensure the timely reconciliation of complex financial data and the preparation of comprehensive financial reports based on agreed client schedules.
•    Develop and implement strategies to optimize financial processes, improve efficiency, and reduce operational risks.
•    Ensure the maintenance and updating of operating manuals and checklists for all billing-related functions and processes.
•    Identify potential concerns and provide strategic solutions to mitigate business risk, irregularities, and errors.
•    Define, monitor, and report on department KPIs to measure team performance and process effectiveness, using results to drive continuous improvement and risk mitigation strategies.
•    Ensure that all financial data is maintained in a well-organized and audit-worthy manner.
•    Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of financial processes with overall business operations.
•    Foster strong business relationships with key clients and stakeholders, providing a high degree of customer service.
•    Collaborate with the Director of Finance in developing and implementing departmental strategies and objectives.
•    Provide leadership and guidance to the team, promoting a positive and collaborative work culture.

What You Will Need

•    6+ years of work experience in an accounting/financial services role, with at least 3 years in a leadership position.
•    Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Commerce, Business Management, Business Administration Finance or Commerce preferred.
•    Fluent written and spoken English.
•    Strong strategic thinking and leadership skills.
•    Proven ability to resolve complex issues and provide strategic solutions.
•    Ability to interpret various instructions in written, oral, and diagram or schedule form.
•    Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
•    Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities effectively.
•    Excellent attention to detail.
•    Proficient in MS Office Suite (specifically Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint) and web-based resources.
•    Working knowledge of regional tax laws is a plus.
