Job Summary

Marcom is Apple’s Global Marketing Communications group that oversees all of Apple’s advertising and marketing campaigns. Marcom’s Design Team is responsible for design and art direction, working collaboratively to define the look and feel of Apple products across all platforms.

We are looking for an experienced Art Director to join our in-house team of talented designers, taking responsibility for the final look and feel of Apple’s product visuals anywhere they’re shown.

Product Art Directors use photographic techniques to translate the industrial design of Apple’s products into beautifully compelling marketing assets – helping to establish the product’s brand voice and ensuring its faithful replication across all marketing channels.

Key Qualifications

  • A minimum of 10 years relevant experience (agency preferred).
  • Experience leading the creation of product images and animations, at the highest levels of quality, across a variety of mediums (digital, print, video)
  • Keen eye for lighting, form, composition, and detail.
  • Ability to zoom out and in – to create artwork that is striking from afar and absolutely perfect up close.
  • Understanding of product photography, traditional studio lighting techniques, and their application in 3D rendering software.
  • Strong knowledge of workflows for 3D still/animation production. Lighting, rendering, compositing, retouching, color correction, etc.
  • Hands-on ability to express and communicate your vision clearly using photography, 3D (Maya/C4D), Photoshop, After Effects, etc.
  • A love for photography and design.
