Job Summary
The Production Coordinator supports the VFX team by assisting Producers with schedule planning, calendar management, and workflow coordination. This role involves monitoring changes, taking and distributing meeting notes, and collaborating with the post-production team. The ideal candidate is an effective communicator who is highly organized and detail-oriented.
Key Qualifications
- Ability to manage multiple tasks across various stakeholders.
- Two or more years of experience as a Coordinator in CG, VFX, Motion Graphics, or a related field.
- 7-10 years of relevant experience supporting multiple managers and cross-functional partners.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to coordinate schedules across teams in different production stages.
- Experience organizing and coordinating travel arrangements for production teams.
- Dependable, detail-oriented, and adaptable to rapid changes in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of day-to-day responsibilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all organizational levels.
- Familiarity with asset management workflows in post-production environments is a plus.
Description
- Partner with Producers and Leads to develop and manage resource plans by tracking artists’ tasks across multiple teams.
- Communicate daily with Managers and Producers to optimize resource allocation, balancing workloads across groups.
- Coordinate team training, off-site events, seating arrangements, and meals.
- Manage and maintain studio calendars, including scheduling for Managers.
- Assist with setting up production meetings, transcribing discussions, and following up on action items.
- Handle the ingestion of assets, shot setup, and tracking disclosures for artists.
- Oversee the transportation of sensitive and confidential materials.
- Perform additional duties as needed based on project requirements.
Education
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
