Job Summary:
Marcom is Apple’s Global Marketing Communications group. The Marcom 3DVM team manages the development of physical deliverables in support of the Marcom group’s initiatives and creative intent. Our responsibilities include designing and developing complex visual merchandising strategy, fixtures, furniture, and solutions for Apple’s worldwide retail and channel partners.
Apple is looking for a mid- to senior-level Visualization/3D Artist with experience in 3D modeling, rendering and animating retail products, fixtures and environments to support the 3DVM Design team. This contract role will provide visualization support for a multi-disciplinary group of designers focused on creating innovative and inspiring retail experiences. You will be responsible for visualizing the creative work throughout the various design phases: from initial exploration and concept sketches to high fidelity renders and/or animations for internal use and stakeholder presentations. Projects of the team include visual merchandising layouts, product displays, and in-store environments for Apple in various retail settings.
Key Qualifications:
• Minimum of 7+ years of design experience in a role specializing in 3D visualization
• Excellent visualization design skills, proven through a portfolio of work
• Proficiency in 3D modeling and visualization software on Mac OS platforms (Rhino, Cinema 4D and Keyshot preferred, other equivalent 3d software packages a plus)
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
• Motion and animation design experience a plus
• Extraordinary eye for detail, lighting and materials, with an ability to create photo realistic visuals
• Highly collaborative, with strong communication skills and the ability to articulate ideas in a clear and concise manner
• Highly organized and self-motivated with excellent time management skills

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (such as 3D Modeling/Animation, Computer Graphics, Architecture or Design) preferred with a minimum of 7+ years of professional experience.
