Job Summary
Marcom is Apple’s Global Marketing Communications group. We oversee all of Apple’s advertising and marketing to ensure the flawless development and execution of world-class communications.
The Production Assistant’s job is to support the internal physical production team accountable for planning and execution of video-based communication projects across multiple platforms and brand groups.
Key Qualifications
• You have at least 5+ years of experience as a video production assistant as a freelancer, at commercial production company, ad agency, or in creative production services.
• Able to handle multiple tasks for multiple individuals.
• Be dependable, organized, have superb attention to detail and quality, and the ability to learn and cope with rapid change.
• Operate independently and be self-guided when it comes to day-to-day running of your tasks.
• Have the ability to communicate, both written and verbally with all levels of the organization.
• Familiarity with workflows in video production.
• You have strong interpersonal and project tracking skills.
• You can solve problems creatively and are able to compromise without impacting the work.
• You are able to work upstream to anticipate and plan for change.
Description
• Interface with crew, vendors, talent with a service minded approach.
• Communicate daily with Managers and Producers for updated project information.
• Assist in setting up production meetings, and follow-up on agenda items.
• Support the setting up of camera, grip, lighting and production supplies for video productions.
• Safeguards confidential information and is discreet.
Education
Bachelor Degree preferred but not required.
