Job Summary
Apple is looking for a seasoned Copywriter to create compelling copy across a variety of marketing campaigns. Specifically, we need someone who can take a complicated piece of technology or software and encapsulate it in a few unforgettable words. For any given project, you may be called on to write headlines, both short form and long form product copy, or contribute some fresh, creative ideas. And to bring these ideas to life, you will collaborate with Art Directors and Designers.
Key Qualifications
- 10+ years experience concepting and writing major marketing, communication, or advertising campaigns.
- Has a deep knowledge of the creative development process, and a portfolio of high-quality work in the mediums of advertising, social media, conceptual campaigns, product launches, and branding.
- Has an understanding of OOH, experiential, digital media and performance marketing.
- Comfortable with large-scale tentpole campaigns, with a proven track record of creating content on a global scale.
- Has the expertise and flexibility to evolve creative campaigns based on metric-driven learnings to achieve business objectives.
- Effectively problem solves in accordance with project constraints, parameters and feedback.
- Experience collaborating with creative, design and production partners to tell a cohesive story.
- Ability to deliver quality, conceptual ideas at high volume in a tight timeframe.
- Experience shepherding concepts through multiple approval rounds and getting buy-in from leadership.
- Sharp attention to detail, and a strong process to manage changes across multiple deliverables and software systems.
- Communicative, collaborative, team-oriented, and receptive to feedback.
- The ideal candidate has either worked in an agency, or with an in-house marketing team.
- Must be comfortable working with a creative partner as this role is one-half of a creative duo (AD, Writing & AD, Art).
- Experience is Keynote is a plus.
Education
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred
