The Technical Screens Lead role will be responsible for oversight on Image Production Studio teams on tools strategy and best practices across Marcom, working both internally and with agency partners to encourage consistency, efficiency, and innovation.
This role will partner with:
Screen Team, Screen Design, Content Production, CGS Pipeline team, MP&S Tools Team, Geo Screens Production and Production Leadership in a highly collaborative and team-oriented environment with the aim of advancing the ongoing development of Marcom’s Production strategy.
The Technical Screens Lead role will build and maintain relationships both internally and with agency partners, monitoring status and ongoing progress of existing and future Marcom processes and playing a critical role in key projects and across efficiency, quality and automation initiatives. This role will also be responsible for making overall recommendations that further Marcom goals for production and finding connections between tools that encourage efficiency and decrease risk.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Close partnership with the Screen Producers and Screen Design Team to deliver against creative intent at scale and speed, while collaborating to solve complexity challenges and improve process and workflow.
- Collaborate with the Agency Technical Production Process Manager and Tools team to define and implement best practices based on both internal process and geo localization needs
- Elevate concerns and make overall strategy improvement recommendations in concert with the Internal and Agency teams
- Collaborate with Apple counterparts to ensure Screen Production and IPS are represented and the needs of the production teams are clearly understood as new process and implementations are introduced
- Participate in complexity, workflow, process discussions, etc with internal and Agency teams to identify technical challenges and find suitable mitigations
- Maintain oversight of final deliverables from external agencies for both static and motion, with an exacting eye, ensuring that layout, images, text, and technical integrity are flawless and to the highest quality
- Work closely with Apple Tools teams to ensure the needs of Screen Artists and Production are being considered and captured in any and all tool updates
- Communicate key workflow process updates and expectations with GEO Content Leads in regards to Localization and GEO Origination work
Experience
- 6+ years experience in a hands-on, high-volume interactive production environment
- Deep understanding of Image production workflow and best practices as they relate to design, QA, GEO localization and transcreation
- Ability to effectively problem solve technical challenges, creative design and production design
- Enthusiasm for exploring evolving image production best practices
- Strong, audience-oriented presentation skills
- Experience in a management, coordination or leadership role within a production studio, or equivalent experience
- Proactive approach with strong sense of ownership
- Experience navigating large and complex organizations, including gaining access to key stakeholders and successfully managing relationship-building dynamics and processes
- Excellent Photoshop and art-working sensibilities applicable to digital image creation, and high quality production output across all formats and media
- Effective communication with team members of varying disciplines including written documentation of pipeline processes and potential challenges and solutions
- Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail (visual and technical)
- Self-motivated with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proactive individual and problem solver
