We are seeking a Lead Copywriter to develop compelling copy for Apple Services across our digital channels. While the role will focus on the App Store and Arcade, the ideal candidate is proficient in all Apple Services.
You’ll write marketing that introduces millions of customers to life-changing apps and groundbreaking games. You’ll write headlines and body copy for paid performance, digital display, email, and social.
But there’s a lot more to being a writer at Apple than simply writing copy. Every day, you’ll work cross functionally with production, designers, business partners, and our international teams to create advertising that represent the App Store’s distinctive brand voice.
Key Qualifications
- You have at least 10+ years experience at an advertising agency, digital agency, or in-house creative group.
- A promising portfolio demonstrating strategic insight and writing talent through advertising campaigns, digital campaigns, apps, and customer experiences.
- Proven ability to thrive cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
- Can work through ambiguity and know how to acquire information independently.
- Experience delivering a high volume of creative deliverables in parallel.
- Ability to cogently and articulately present and defend creative work.
- An insatiable love for writing and an incredible eye for detail.
- Collaborative and receptive to feedback.
Description
- Partner with creative directors, brand teams, creative agencies and other writers on the team to develop effective creative.
- Create, refine, and present work to executives. Articulate concepts with energy and enthusiasm.
- Gracefully take direction from senior leadership, and find ways to be creative within brand guidelines.
- Work with project managers, producers, and creative directors to stay on schedule and meet deadlines.
- Work in a deeply-cross functional environment, with the ability to learn multiple systems, processes, org structures, and key partners quickly.
- Ensure standards are upheld and writing is executed in line with the Apple style.
- Be part of a team that develops scalable design systems, templates and tool-kits that strengthen the Apple brand.
Education
A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
