Description:

This role will work with Geo PR, Geo Marketing and Newsroom producers to lead operations for secure, in-Geo localization of Newsroom stories.  The role will prioritize operational tasks to ensure international translators are able to work securely remotely, and that Geo PR and Geo Marketing work succinctly across confidential announcements. This role will also oversee the launch of any new languages, including onboarding and integration with the full localization efforts.

DESCRIPTION

  • You will build systems, training materials and briefings to enable smooth and secure localization for Global teams
  • You will build localization guidelines for Geo PR when localization complexities need to be accompanied with detailed instructions
  • You will set up and manage Geo PR and translator disclosures in coordination with Global Security through the scheduling and tracking of security briefings for staff and vendors. 
  • You’ll partner with Newsroom producers and Global Security to ensure adherence to global workflow (tools, process, protocols, etc) where possible.
  • You will actively communicate and ensure adherence to global security and confidentiality policies.
  • You will manage the platforms where all Geo PR resources are tracked, disclosed and provisioned for the appropriate access to confidential materials. Tools include Quip and others.
  • You will spearhead any laptop escalation and profiling support with IT for Geo PR translators.
  • You’ll lead communication with Geo Ops Managers, Geo PR, and translators to ensure alignment of all teams working in secure spaces in Geo on NPI events and track the status of each Geo accordingly 
  • You will work hand in hand with the Marketing Loc Ops team for all confidential workshops to ensure seamless integration both on the technical side as well as clear, concise process and timeline instructions.
  • You’ll be the first and main point of contact in the event of any security/confidentiality breaches in Geo.
  • You’ll also work with local Procurement and Security teams to induct all new vendors and contractors.
  • You will manage new workshops in partnership with the Loc SS and other teams.
  • You will build roadmaps in partnership with tools teams for future updates needed to continue evolving the platforms.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

  • You have at least four years of experience in digital project management, preferably at a design firm, ad agency, or in-house marketing communications or creative services department. 
  • Experience with digital content production in a publishing and/or editorial setting would also benefit this role.
  • You demonstrate project management skills including scope management, resource planning, task tracking, and budget management.
  • You have experience working across business groups in a secure environment where confidentiality is a priority.
  • You’re an expert with spreadsheet tools in operational or project management capacity.
  • You’re willing and able to work weekends during occasional peak times.
  • Achieving a bachelor’s degree is strongly preferred.

  • Business Day Timings: 9 AM to 5 PM
