Marcom LA is seeking an Associate Creative Director, Art to work in a team responsible for developing global multi-platform marketing campaigns supporting our sports division.
You’ll work across sports to create concepts and for brand campaigns, digital performance campaigns, social, owned channels, and new mediums of communication.
Key Qualifications
- You have at least 7+ years of experience art directing, providing creative direction, concepting, and producing for major marketing, communication or advertising campaigns.
- Has a deep knowledge of the creative development process, and a portfolio of high-quality work in the mediums of advertising, social media, conceptual campaigns, product launches, and branding
- Deep knowledge of sports, with a strong working knowledge and POV on what’s happening across culture.
- Has an understanding of OOH, experiential, digital media and performance marketing
- Proven experience leading large-scale, global tentpole campaigns, spanning formats from broadcast/commercial work and short films to social-first storytelling and stunt-driven activations.
- Has the expertise and flexibility to evolve creative campaigns based on metric-driven learnings to achieve business objectives
- Effectively problem solves in accordance with project constraints, parameters and feedback
- Experience collaborating with creative, design and production partners to tell a cohesive story
- Ability to deliver quality, conceptual ideas at high volume in a tight timeframe
- Experience shepherding concepts through multiple approval rounds and getting buy-in from leadership
- Sharp attention to detail, and a strong process to manage changes across multiple deliverables and software systems
- Communicative, collaborative, team-oriented, and receptive to feedback
- The ideal candidate has either worked in an agency, or with an in-house marketing team
- Must be comfortable working with a creative partner as this role is one-half of a creative duo (ACD, Copy & ACD, Art).
- Experience in Keynote is a plus.

• Presents work to senior creative staff, product marketing managers, and executives.
• Collaborates with ACD/Copy to concept ideas and co-direct teams.
• Works across disciplines to integrated strategies and messaging for online, retail, channel, events, advertising and new mediums of communication.
• Works with project managers and creative directors to ensure that schedules are accurate and realistic and that deadlines are met.
Education
A Bachelor's degree is required.
Hours may fluctuate based on project needs.
