The Marcom LA Team within Apple Services Marketing is looking for an experienced and highly-organized Operations Coordinator. This position is an administrative role with a specialty in compiling and collating reports, data, project content and general administrative tasks associated with operations of a large creative organization within Apple. The successful candidate will be a collaborative team member with a friendly work style, who is passionate about solving data-based problems.
Key Qualifications
- Data-oriented. Loves spreadsheets, reports, trackers and keeping accurate, detailed notes
- Minimum of 5-7 years as an project manager, program manager or in operations, and/or similar administrative support
- Must have at least 1-2 years experience in a marketing or advertising department
- Must show an aptitude for operations, project management, workflow, processes, and administrative duties
- Excellent communicator able to work with all levels of management; ability to communicate clearly both orally and in writing
- Extremely organized, excellent, and acute attention to detail
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced, and time sensitive environment
- Proven track record of meeting deadlines and taking initiative to make confident decisions quickly and under pressure.Has a passion for learning new things, curious to learn and solve problems.
- Direct experience dealing with sensitive and confidential information with integrity
- Must be confident to make complicated decisions on their own when needed and able to explain their reasoning
- Able to anticipate change and react efficiently & expeditiously
- Overall ability to understand and retain new information quickly
- Experience in Numbers, Pages, iCal, Keynote and Excel
Description:
- Lead and manage weekly reports including resourcing status, financial status and summary project status
- Monthly recap on progress with tools, systems and resourcing
- Partner with project management and production teams for operational needs
- Support the Operations Manager with all aspects of co-ordinating and executing internal projects. Whether compiling information for presentations, organizing calendar priorities to ensure key meeting attendance. Or capturing actions and ensuring follow-up for any internal initiatives
- This role will have responsibility over budget management for internal team events. Experience forecasting, tracking and allocating budget would be beneficial.
- Look for opportunities for efficiencies and cost savings throughout the department
