The Photography team is looking for an experienced, flexible, and dedicated freelance Photo Editor to collaborate with our Photo & Creative Content team of Art Directors and Photo Producers in a wide range of roles and responsibilities. We work with a variety of teams including newsroom, video/film, advertising, interactive, social, retail/channel and special projects. You are an integral part of the stories we create and the images we make on a daily basis.
Description
This position is responsible for assisting/supporting in the following areas:
- Pitch and research photography for a variety of deliverables.
- Collaborate closely with Art Directors and Creative Directors to prepare and build presentations.
- Edit large photo shoots for a variety of deliverables.
- Manage multiple photo projects at once.
- Cover additional duties as appropriate to the project.
Key Qualifications
- Looking for candidates with 10+ years experience with a strong knowledge of contemporary photographers
- A strong awareness of social media and knowledge of current trends in photography is a must.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
- Proficiency editing large sets of images under tight deadlines.
- A team player with strong communication, presentation and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with Keynote; Adobe Creative Suite software, especially Photoshop; and Photo Mechanic.
EDUCATION
Bachelors degree preferred.
