Research-focused position requiring familiarity with mammalian cell culture, and standard molecular biology techniques such as cloning and plasmid DNA purification.
Experience in performing bio-analytical assays (immunological, microbiological, molecular biological, or virological) following defined methods is preferred.
Experience in small-scale protein expression is beneficial but is not required.
Initiates, executes, completes, and communicates results and related issues with supervision.
Accountable for performing all techniques and assays in a manner to yield valid results and to minimize repeated work.
Perform initial data analysis so that accurate and precise results are obtained, and provide support to team members in data acquisition, reporting, and communication.
Accurately record all data from research techniques and tests on data capture forms, research notebooks, or raw data notebooks as appropriate.
Follow Research & Development policies and procedures to maintain high quality standards and follow best practices.

Education
BS degree from an accredited institution in a relevant scientific discipline; or Biotechnology Laboratory Methods certification in combination with AS degree and relevant job experience.
