Duties

The Legal Analyst will partner closely with the Global Investigations team to support responses to criminal subpoenas and other legal process. This role plays a critical part in ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant production of records to law enforcement. There may also be opportunities to collaborate with Legal on civil subpoena responses.


Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze subpoenas, court orders, and other legal process for validity, scope, and completeness across U.S. and international jurisdictions
  • Review law enforcement requests and identify opportunities for escalation to internal investigative teams
  • Conduct detailed research across internal systems to identify responsive accounts, transactions, and related activity
  • Communicate with attorneys, government agencies, and law enforcement to explain company records, policies, and procedures
  • Prepare and produce records in response to legal requests, ensuring accuracy and adherence to internal guidelines
  • Document findings and maintain clear, auditable case records
  • Support additional operational and administrative tasks as needed
  • Proficient in Mac operating systems
  • 2+ years of experience working in Fintech or a technology company
  • 2+ years of experience in subpoena production or legal process compliance
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Proficient in Google Docs and Google Sheets
  • Experience with Looker or SQL is a plus
  • Cryptocurrency industry experience is a plus
