Job Title
Security Contractor – Incident Management (Security / Engineering)
Contract: 6 Months (Contingent Worker)
Location: Dublin (Remote)

 

Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to support our Security Incident Response function on a 6-month contract. This role will focus on the final stage of the incident lifecycle, bridging the gap between incident resolution and long-term remediation. You will partner closely with security and engineering teams to ensure post-incident actions are tracked, delivered, and embedded into scalable frameworks. This is a highly specialised, project-driven role with a defined scope and limited extension potential.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and manage post-incident remediation programs, ensuring actions are completed and tracked effectively
  • Bridge the handoff between incident resolution teams and long-term remediation ownership
  • Optimize the incident remediation framework and scale it through process and automation.
  • Build and manage oversight mechanisms to ensure accountability and delivery
  • Use Jira to track incidents, remediation actions, and program progress
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to drive execution
  • Support transition of the function into a steady-state framework management model                                                        Note: This role does not focus on investigations or forensic analysis.

Required Skills & Experience (Non-Negotiable)

  • Strong Program Management experience
  • Hands-on Incident Management experience (Security or Engineering)
  • Proficiency with Jira
  • Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience
  • Proven ability to manage internal stakeholders across technical and non-technical teams

Preferred Background

  • Security practitioner with Program Management skills (GRC or Security Management background preferred)
  • OR candidates from engineering teams with significant incident management experience
  • Experience operating in high-pressure, incident-driven environments
  • Ability to work autonomously in a fast-moving, response-oriented team

Team & Environment

  • Join a small, high-impact team of 4 (Program Manager, Security Engineer, Engineers)
  • Work closely with teams that operate as “first responders” and remediation owners
  • Fully remote role aligned to a Dublin-based team
