Description:

This is a contract role through Magnit for Consumers Energy in Jackson, Michigan.  

Summary:

-Problem diagnosis, troubleshooting and resolution for workstation Hardware and Software under time constraints. -Must be willing to learn about the clients' business and processes. -Support new distributed Application projects and operations. -Prepare business and technical documentation. -Tasks associated with the identification, deployment, and support of Infrastructure technologies to support business requirements. -Coordinates with users to determine requirements, analyze business problems, identify technology options, and define detailed specifications of technology solutions. -Applies analytical skills to design, implement and support medium sized projects or portions of larger projects.

Must be highly client service oriented with excellent communication skills, empathy and patience. -Must show commitment, dependability and reliability, and be proactive and self-starting. Must be a strong team player, willing to use, and support the total IT resource network. -Must be sensitive to the business and its customers. -Excellent problem solving and analytical skills. Organization skills are a must. -Desired technical skills and knowledge include: Workstations and mixed printer types, basic LAN network, Windows 2000, Windows XP, and Active Directory. Business Applications include: MSOffice Suite, Lotus Notes, Adobe, etc. Exposure to Enterprise Applications (i.e. Micro station, Clarity, SAP, etc.). Experience in supporting mixed printing Environments (printers, MFDs, plotters, etc.). Knowledge of company business processes including Work Order processing, Call Center operations, Direct Customer Office (DCO), etc. Experience in supporting/using handheld devices Examples of additional knowledge areas include: network, Software distribution, data base technologies, capacity and performance techniques, voice and wireless technologies, internet infrastructure, security. Minimum 3-5 years experience

.Hourly Pay Rate Range (dependent on location, experience, expectation)

The pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay for this position is: $31 - $40/hr
