Job Title: Manufacturing Operations Support

Position Details:

• This position is 100% onsite. Keysight Location: 1400 Fountaingrove Pkwy; Santa Rosa, CA.
• Work Schedule:  Monday thru Friday, 40 hours/week.
• Contract Duration: 23 months.

The Precision Meso-scale Technology Center (PMTC) located on Keysight’s campus in Santa Rosa, CA exists to provide mechanical solutions that enable the capabilities of Keysight’s industry leading electronic measurement equipment. As a Machinist Support Assistant you will support machining processes. Working closely with Journeyman Machinists, you will provide technical support that will increase efficiency of the precision machine shop.

Typical job duties might include:

• Unloading parts from machines
• Deburring, sanding, or removing tabs of machined parts
• Assembling of components
• Gathering and checking tools needed to set up a job
• General area cleaning
• Verifying gages for specific jobs are available and calibrated
• Ordering/staging/pulling of lower-level material
• Pulling blueprints and prepare work orders
• Perform updates and transactions in manufacturing execution system(s)
• Clean finished parts
• Other tasks as required

Keysight is looking for a highly motivated individual with good mechanical or technical aptitude. This position will require a person with proven success in working in support of mechanical, machining, or other technical processes accompanied by a knack for precision and mechanical aptitude. Must be able to follow process documentation. Must have the willingness and desire to learn, strong teamwork, positive attitude, dedication, and job/shift flexibility are a must.

Experience with any/all the following is highly desired:

• May require some specialized training/certification, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Machine tools, machining technologies
• Measurement of mechanical components using hand measurement tools
• Mechanical inspection
• Mechanical assembly
• Deburring, grinding, sanding
• Gaging, tool crib attendant
• Various metals and other materials used in machining components
• Blueprint reading
• Basic computer skills
• Experience in a machine/mechanics shop environment desirable

Pay Transparency:

• This is the pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay someone for this position is $32.28/hour - $32.28/hour W-2.
