Manager, Financial Reporting and Accounting
We are seeking an experienced Financial Reporting and Accounting Manager to support month-end close, financial reporting, and control activities. This role will partner closely with business partner, Group Finance, Shared finance center, Tax, Treasury and affiliate finance teams to ensure accurate reporting, effective controls, and timely management insights.
Key Responsibilities
Execute month-end close activities, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
Analyze balance sheet and P&L movements and prepare financial commentary explaining key variances and business drivers.
Prepare and post manual journal entries, accruals, and cost cross-charge.
Investigate and resolve intercompany and reporting discrepancies with internal stakeholders and affiliates.
Prepare reporting packages and presentations for CFO and finance leadership reviews.
Coordinate financial review and sign-off processes, including controls and compliance documentation.
Execute key financial controls, including financial statement tie-outs, accrual completeness reviews, manual journal entry review and close readiness checks.
Prepare cash forecasts and support management reporting.
Manage intercompany billing and invoice review/approval activities.
Prepare supporting documentation for audits, reviews, and regulatory requirements.
Maintain financial reporting procedures, work instructions, and process documentation.
Collaborate effectively with Business, Group Finance, Tax, and other cross-functional stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
7+ years of accounting, financial reporting, AND controllership experience.
Strong knowledge of IFRS and/or US GAAP.
Experience with month-end close, balance sheet review, financial controls, and management reporting.
Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP S/4HANA
Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred
CPA certification.
Experience with manufacturing, fixed assets.
Experience with financial consolidation and reporting systems
Location: East Hanover, NJ (Hybrid -3 days onsite)
Pay Rate: $60/hr - $64/hr W-2 Only (based on Education/Experience)
Contract: 12-month
