Job Title: KJMC - Diabetes Care RN

Location: Brooklyn, New York

Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Diabetes Center of Excellence plays a pivotal role in the holistic management and education of patients with diabetes. This position involves understanding the complexities of diabetes management, from medication familiarization to technical troubleshooting of devices, ensuring patients receive optimal and personalized care in collaboration with the diabetes care team.

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience with technical aspects of diabetes care, including insulin pumps and continuous glucose monitors (CGMs).
• Relevant experience in diabetes education.
• Proficiency in electronic health records and medical software.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with emphasis on patient-centered care.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s in Nursing or related field.

Required Certifications & Licensure:

• Current and valid New York State Registered Nurse License.
• Certification in Diabetes Education.
