Role Description

This role is a contract assignment at Palo Alto Networks. Contractors will not be employed by Palo Alto Networks but through our trusted staffing partners.

We are looking for a high-energy, detail-obsessed Email and Webinar Marketing Specialist (Contract) to join our team. In this role, you won’t just be "sending emails"—you will be the engine behind our post-sales communication strategy, ensuring our customers and partners receive the right information at exactly the right time.

If you thrive in the intersection of marketing automation, event execution, and customer experience, we want to talk to you.

  • Location - USA East Coast remote
  • Duration -  12 months

The Role

As a key member of the Digital Customer Success team, you will manage a robust email calendar and own the end-to-end execution of our webinar program.

Key Responsibilities

  • Email Campaign Management: Own the execution of our customer and partner email calendar. This includes building, testing, and scheduling high-volume campaigns directed at existing customers and partners. Ensure a balanced communication cadence and prevent "inbox fatigue."
  • Webinar Production: Take full ownership of the webinar lifecycle:
    • Pre-Event: Design, planning, and promotional email setup.
    • Live Execution: Technical hosting and troubleshooting.
    • Post-Event: Data syncing, follow-up communications, and reporting.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to translate technical updates into customer-centric, engaging copy and events.
  • Content Crafting: Utilize HTML email builders to create visually appealing and responsive templates that align with brand standards.
  • Quality Assurance: Perform rigorous QA on every send—checking links, personalization tokens, mobile responsiveness, and formatting.
  • Segmentation & Logic: Build and maintain smart lists and audience segments to ensure the right message reaches the right customer at the right time.
  • Project Oversight: Manage timelines and deliverables using tools like Asana or Monday.com to ensure no detail is missed.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor key metrics and provide actionable insights to improve the customer experience.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Customer-First Mindset: You understand the nuances of post-sales communication and how to speak to an existing user base.
  • 2+ years of experience in email marketing or digital customer success (B2B or SaaS preferred).
  • Tech Stack: Proficiency in Gainsight (Journey Orchestrator), Zoom Webinars, and Salesforce is highly preferred.
  • Technical Aptitude: You are a fast learner of complex platforms. If you haven't used our specific stack, your experience in similar tools allows you to pivot quickly.
  • Communication: Exceptional written and verbal skills are a must. You can explain "why this matters" to a customer clearly and concisely.
  • Precision: You are the person who catches the broken link or the typo in the 11th hour.
  • Project Management: Experience using tools like Asana, Monday.com, or Jira to track tasks and deadlines.
  • ● Collaboration: A "team-first" attitude with the ability to manage feedback from multiple stakeholders without losing focus on the customer.
  • ● Design Savvy: Experience working within HTML email builders to create polished, responsive templates.

Why You’ll Love This Role

You’ll be joining a collaborative team that values a customer-first mindset and clear communication. This is a fast-paced environment where your work has a direct, visible impact on the customer experience.

The Ideal Candidate

You are the person who catches the typo in the third paragraph and notices when a hyperlink is the wrong shade of blue. You love turning a complex problem into a seamless flow. Above all, you approach every task with a customer-first mindset, instinctively stepping into their shoes to ensure every touchpoint is intuitive, thoughtful, and frictionless.
