Role Description

This role is a contract assignment at Palo Alto Networks. Contractors will not be employed by Palo Alto Networks but through our trusted staffing partners.  

Palo Alto Networks is looking for an Executive Assistant - Contractor to work with the executive leadership team and is a great opportunity for a talented individual who has the desire to associate with a fast-growing company in a truly international environment.

  • Location - New York, NY (Hybrid - 3 days working from office)
  • Duration -  3 months 

As an Executive Assistant, you will provide essential administrative support to a group of leaders, ensuring their daily operations run smoothly and efficiently. 

Your Impact

  • Calendar Management: Provide Google calendar management with appropriate attention to detail, prioritizing inquiries while troubleshooting scheduling conflicts.
  • Travel Coordination: Act as a point of contact for coordinating all travel arrangements and itineraries, including domestic and international travel.
  • Expense Management: Manage and reconcile expense reports and purchase requisitions accurately and timely.
  • Support Ratio: Anticipate and initiate actions regarding administrative management, maintaining a 1:4 or 1:5 support ratio.
  • Communication: Be responsive to emails, texts, and phone calls, ensuring the executives are well-informed of upcoming commitments.

  • Organization: Demonstrate strong organizational and multi-tasking skills with a proven ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of Google Suite applications is a plus.
  • Discretion: Ability to use discretion and maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive company information.
  • Proactive Mindset: A proactive approach to recognizing needs and solving problems independently.
  • Collaboration: Act as a team player with a positive attitude, working closely with peer assistants to share best practices.
  • Flexibility: Comfortable working across different time zones as required by the leadership team.
  • Attention to Detail: Outstanding attention to detail and dedication to faultless execution on tasks.

Education

B.S./B.A. degree, equivalent work experience, or equivalent military experience is nice to have.

Compensation

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location.  For candidates who receive an offer,this is the pay range that Magnit (the staffing agency) reasonably expects to pay for this position: $55/hour to $60/hour. Please note that the compensation information in this posting reflects the hourly wage only and does not include benefits.  Magnit offers Medical, Dental, Vision and 401K. Magnit is not able to provide assistance to candidates requiring sponsorship or a visa for this position.
