As a Product Designer within PayPal.com team, you will help to create new design assets to trans-create our new redesign for our PayPal Giving Fund website. You will own the site design refresh from 0-1 and ultimately deliver the best possible marketing website experience for charities around the world.

You will report to the Design Director of PayPal.com and be a member of our diverse Global Design Organization where we use our design and research skills to inspire and influence across the company. We believe that different perspectives and backgrounds inside our team lead to innovation and inclusion in our product design. In your role as a designer, your day-to-day tasks will consist of trans-creating our PayPal Giving Fund website into a visually engaging experience using our new PayPal.com design system. Your ability to bring your vision and concepts to life will not only be welcomed but celebrated.

One of the key aspects of your role is a thorough understanding of the right balance between business, design and our customers and serving our brand’s purpose, business missions and customer needs.

Responsibilities 

• Create Figma visual design assets for how the PayPal Giving Fund programs works for charities around the world.
• Own your project 0-1 with design tasks, timeline and reviews
• Generate design concepts, prototypes, final designs and post-production specs and assets for development
• Work collaboratively with other designers to ensure a consistent, integrated brand perception and user experience
• Collaborate with a cross-functional team that includes the product manager, content writers and development engineers
• Translate business requirements, user needs, technical requirements into designs that are visually enticing, easy to use, and emotionally engaging
• Staying in the loop and on top of the latest standards, changes, trends in visual design field
• Design presentations of work that tell a compelling story rooted in users JTBD

Basic Qualifications

• A minimum of two years of professional experience in designing web, desktop and mobile visual design experiences
• Demonstrate a high level of visual design craft
• Well organized, responsible and dedicated, with the ability to manage your tasks on time
• Self-learning, able to learn new tools quickly and work in a fast-evolving environment
• Expert-level skills in Figma, Photoshop and Microsoft Office
• Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience in the graphic design field
• Motion design skills in Adobe After Effects is a nice to know

This is the pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay for this position: $53.03/hour - $70.70/hour
