Job Title: Accounting Senior Manager

Philadelphia, PA

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage activities related to the CGHB North America and Australia month-end, quarterly and annual US GAAP close processes, including review and approval of journal entries, account reconciliations, financial reporting, and various analysis.  Main areas of focus include TPA and ASO etc. 
    • Payment approval, including TPA fees, commissions, intercompany etc.
    • Journal entry review and approval
    • Balance sheet reconciliation review and approval
  • Coordinate with other functional areas, e.g. Treasury, Provider Network, Client Management to troubleshoot and perform ad hoc analyses.
  • Support US Statutory reporting where needed.
  • Seek automation and efficiency improvement opportunity. 


Additional Requirements:

  • 7+ years of professional accounting experience required, experience in Healthcare Insurance preferred
  • Proven working experience as Accounting Manager, or Finance Manager
  • Strong technical skills with knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations for US GAAP reporting
  • Strong sense of control to maintain an appropriate internal control environment
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret, evaluate and communicate financial results
  • Excellent computer skills; Microsoft Office Suite experience in accounting software (Oracle general ledger, Account Reconciliation Manager (ARM) as well as Hyperion Financial Management (HFM)) strongly preferred
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to balance multiple projects and adapt to new issues/assignments.
  • High attention to details and accuracy

Skills

  • Proven working experience as Accounting Manager, or Finance Manager

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required; CPA preferred

Hourly Pay Rate Range (dependent on location, experience, expectation) 

The pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay for this position is: $47.00/hour-$53.00/ hour.
