Description:

This position is a temporary assignment. As a contractor, you’ll be employed by Magnit, not The Cigna Group or any subsidiaries of The Cigna Group.

 

Provides advanced professional input to complex Information Protection assignments/projects. Responsible for the research, evaluation, recommendation and administration of systems and procedures to ensure the protection of information processed, stored or transmitted. Identifies security risks and exposures, determines the causes of complex security violations at the highest technical level and suggests procedures to halt future incidents. May provide virus monitoring and crisis management. Provides assistance to system users relative to information systems security matters. May provide enterprise continuity program planning and testing along with business disruption and crisis management. Supports and provides direction to more junior professionals. Works autonomously, only requiring “expert” level technical support from others. Exercises judgment in the evaluation, selection, and adaptation of both standard and complex techniques and procedures. Utilizes in-depth professional knowledge and acumen to develop models and procedures, and monitor trends, within Information Protection.

  • Hands-on experience with Mainframe security and the RACF software tool.
  • Responsible for provisioning and clean-up of access to the mainframe (MVS/0S390/RACF) environments.
  • Responsible for ensuring associates are properly mapped to RACF groups and Dataset Profiles.
  • Manage and support cryptographic operations on IBM z/OS systems using the Integrated Cryptographic Service Facility (ICSF), ensuring secure and efficient handling of sensitive data.
  • Configure and maintain ICSF environments, including key management, cryptographic coprocessor setup, and policy enforcement in compliance with enterprise security standards.
  • Provide navigation guidance to business partners for requesting access via the Change and Access Management systems.
  • Partner with peers in different organizations to identify, analyze and resolve technical access issues.
  • Partner with the security policy makers and audit teams to provide reporting and remediate identified access.
  • Assist internal business partners with incident management issues.
  • Translates technical security issues into layman terms so all parties are clear of impacts to the business.
  • Develop and implement continuous improvements within the team.
  • Provide 24/7 support (as necessary).

Bachelor’s degree or higher strongly preferred.

Hourly Pay Rate Range (dependent on location, experience, expectation)  

The pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay for this position is: $45.00/hour-$49.77/hour
