Senior Product Manager, AI Triage to Care

Role Overview

The way people access care is changing. More and more, a health question starts with a conversation and patients increasingly expect guidance that's immediate, clear, and connected to what happens next. We're building toward that future: an intelligent, clinically governed care experience that meets patients where they are and routes them to the right care safely.

Our AI triage product is live and the starting point. From there, we're evolving toward an agentic virtual care ecosystem, expanding the patient experience well beyond intake and triage into how care is navigated, delivered, and personalized across MDLive.

We're looking for a Senior Product Manager to own AI triage as a product and drive strategy and delivery for that broader ecosystem. You pair real product and design instinct with the technical fluency to build AI responsibly. You think first about the patient on the other side of the screen, and you're energized by the hard problems that come with putting AI in front of them in a clinical setting.

What You’ll Do

• Own a patient-facing AI triage product end to end including vision, experience, quality, and safety
• Drive strategy for the future of agentic virtual care and the expansion of the patient experience beyond triage
• Shape product strategy and roadmap, and build the case that brings clinical, engineering, legal, design, and leadership partners along
• Lead human-centered discovery: learn how patients describe symptoms, where they hesitate, and what earns their trust, then turn that into product decisions
• Partner closely on conversational flow and clarity at moments that matter to patients
• Define how the product gets tested and monitored for quality and safety, working with analytics and engineering on the bars that matter
• Own the human-in-the-loop safety workflow, when the AI brings in a person, what that handoff looks like, and how it evolves as the product matures
• Translate AI capabilities and limitations into clear tradeoffs for clinical, engineering, legal, product, and leadership audiences
• Support GTM and monetization from a product perspective: understand what the product costs to run, how it creates value, and how pricing and packaging decisions shape the roadmap

What We’re Looking For

• Strong product and design sense: you care how an experience feels, not just whether it works
• Experience shipping a patient- or consumer-facing AI product, where you set the quality bar and made the call on readiness
• Comfort measuring and improving AI product quality including evaluating model behavior, catching regressions, and deciding when something is good enough to ship
• Curiosity and adaptability; you stay close to a fast-moving field, change your mind when the evidence does, and stay grounded in ambiguity
• Experience evolving a live product: taking something already in production and pushing it toward a larger vision, balancing incremental improvement against bigger bets
• Strong influence and partnership across cross-functional partners

Hourly Pay Rate Range (dependent on location, experience, expectation)

The pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay for this position is: $70/hour-$73/hour
