Summary:
We are Seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Production support Developer role to Maintain and enhance our critical applications and services.
The role involves providing monitoring, first level triage of production issues, bugs, troubleshooting and resolving production issues, as well as contributing to various ad-hoc development projects aimed at improving system performance and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor Production systems and respond to incidents, outages and service degradation.
- Perform root cause analysis and provide timely resolution or escalation.
- Write scripts or code fixes for recurring issues and automation of manual tasks.
- Collaborate with business and other developers to provide solutions and deploy hotfixes.
- Should be available 24/7 to debug/support production issues that should arise.
- Maintain support documentation, run books and knowledge base articles
- Assist in short-term or one-off development projects.
- Exercises considerable creativity, foresight, and judgment in conceiving, planning, and resolving production issues.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of working in .MS SQL
- 5+ years of experience in IT delivery
- 3+ years' experience being part of Agile teams and working in Agile methodology working Scrum or Kanban
- 2+ years of working in .Net Framework is a plus
- Web Application development as well as RESTful/API services and microservices
- Experience with the utilization of ADO/Git version control software
- Optional Skills: Application Insights, Service Fabric, Azure DEV ops, GIT source control, no SQL, Kafka
- REQUIRED - Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or relevant work experience field.
Hourly Pay Rate Range (dependent on location, experience, expectation)
The pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay for this position is: $47 - $59/hr
