Magnit Direct Sourcing on behalf of Toyota is currently hiring an HR Generalist for a temporary assignment in Plano, Texas.

 

This is a 12-month contract. The pay range for this role is between $25.00 - $29.63/Hr. Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K.

 

Toyota Human Resources is looking to hire to the HR Shared Service team a passionate and highly motivated candidate for the role of HR Generalist.

The person in this role will provide consumer-grade level customer service to Toyota team members by accurately and promptly answering their HR and Toyota employee experience inquiries. Topic areas of questions include HR-related topics such as benefits, compensation, HR policies, etc. as well as general topic areas such as facilities inquires, expense reporting, employee development, etc.

Reporting to the Supervisor, HR Shared Services, the HR Generalist role will support HR Shared Service objective to transform the way HR engages with Toyota team members

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Correspond quickly and proficiently with Askers in a professional manner that reflects a positive employee experience.
  • Seek to understand Askers’ needs and intentions, usually with little information, clarifying in writing their questions when required.
  • Processes and verifies Form I-9 documentation in compliance with federal employment eligibility requirements, ensuring accurate completion, tracking, and audit readiness.
  • Maintain a strong attention to detail to identify impacted populations, such as job level, worker type, work location, and Toyota entity to provide the right answer.
  • Research question topics using team member resources and a library of information across several categories.
  • Lead escalations to resolution by maintaining communication with Shared Service partners; ensure handoff of inquiries to SME/Stakeholders
  • Leverage Workday functionality to track, manage, and resolve HR inquiries and processes efficiently, ensuring timely resolution and accurate documentation

Qualifications:

  • Customer-first mindset and attitude
  • Previous customer service or HR-related experience
  • A positive, team attitude that looks to learn and grow everyday
  • Proven ability to collaborate with a wide range of people at all levels in the organization
  • Proficiency with the English language
  • Strong written and verbal communication style that strikes the fine balance between professional and casual tone
  • An excitement for managing a high-volume of tasks while maintaining a high-degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Proven ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality
  • Proficiency in HRM Systems with a preference for Workday
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
  • Ability to quickly learn new software
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) or higher degree
