The Compliance Specialist ensures that apparel products and related business practices adhere to relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards. This role involves monitoring compliance with testing, labeling safety and quality requirements, social compliance in factories, and other relevant standards. They also work to identify and mitigate potential risks, ensuring the company's operations align with legal and regulatory requirements.
How You'll Rock the Role
- Labeling: Identifying and implementing labeling compliance requirements for products, ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulations.
- Social Compliance: Monitoring and ensuring compliance with factory social compliance standards, including fair labor practices and working conditions.
- Product Compliance: Ensuring products meet relevant safety, testing, and other product compliance requirements.
- Customs Compliance: Ensuring compliance with import and export regulations.
- Industry Standards: Keeping abreast of changes in regulations and industry standards that may impact the business.
- Risk Assessment: Identifying and evaluating potential compliance risks.
- Mitigation: Developing and implementing strategies to mitigate identified compliance risks.
- Compliance Policies: Developing and implementing compliance policies and procedures.
- Compliance Tracking: Monitoring and tracking compliance issues and ensuring timely resolution.
- Reporting: Preparing reports on compliance performance and highlighting areas of concern.
- Employee Training: Contributing to training programs that support business and compliance requirements.
- Stakeholder Communication: Collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure compliance.
- Product Data Management: Managing and maintaining product data, including compliance-related information.
- Vendor Compliance: Ensuring vendor compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Auditing: Conducting audits to ensure compliance with regulations and policies.
What We're Looking For

1-3 years of experience in quality assurance

Strong understanding of apparel industry regulations and standards.

This is the pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay for this position: $15.00/hour - $19.00/hour
