This is a contract role through Magnit for Consumers Energy in Jackson, Michigan. This role is onsite.
Responsibilities:
- Responsibilities include collecting/calculating data, basic testing in the field of specialization (if required), coordinating multiple engineering projects, supporting lead project engineers in design reviews, drawing comment consolidation, specification development and design reviews.
- Also responsible for preparing engineering drawings, maps, finished drawings and graphic exhibits.
- Develop field reports, inspection reports and project summary reports in support of lead project engineers.
- Willingness to attend site visits and travel as required for field work.
Requirements:
- minimum 2-year college degree in scientific or technical field or equivalent
- Willingness to accept and follow direction
- Good communication skills, including written and verbal
- Good analytical skills
- Good drawing reading skills
- ability to coordinating multiple projects and tasks.
- Skilled in power point, word, bluebeam / adobe
- Detailed orientated.
Hourly Pay Rate Range (dependent on location, experience, expectation)
The pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay for this position is: $25.00- $35.00/hr
