Marketing Specialist (Contract)
This role is a contract assignment at Palo Alto Networks. Contractors will not be employed by Palo Alto Networks but through our trusted staffing partners.
We are seeking a detail-oriented Marketing Specialist for a contract engagement responsible for executing our Account-Based Marketing (ABM) programs and premium CXO hospitality experiences. The ideal candidate excels at "white-glove" execution, ensuring that high-level strategies are translated into flawless, high-touch experiences for our most critical enterprise stakeholders.

Your Impact
Core Responsibilities
- ABM Tactical Execution - Support the deployment and day-to-day coordination of Account-Based Marketing (ABM) activities tailored to high-priority strategic accounts.
- Event Operations & Logistics -
- Provide hands-on operational support for CXO hospitality events and executive engagement initiatives.
- Manage administrative tasks for third-party sponsorships, including registration lists and venue logistics.
- Data Entry & Personalization Support -
- Maintain the integrity of customer data to ensure marketing activities remain relevant and personalized.
- Assist in pulling engagement reports to help the team understand customer preferences and business needs.
- Update SFDC records and intent-data platforms (e.g., Demandbase) to ensure account interaction history is accurate.
- Cross-Functional Coordination -
- Serve as a primary administrative link between Field Marketing, Strategic Sales, and Global Events teams.
- Schedule planning sessions and track project deadlines to ensure all teams are aligned.
- Ensure all sales enablement materials related to regional campaigns are uploaded and accessible to the field teams.
- Tracking & Reporting Assistance -
- Support the measurement of marketing activities by gathering and organizing performance data.
- Compile regular reports on key metrics such as event attendance and CxO engagement touches.
- Organize results for marketing leadership to review regional performance
Your Experience
- 5+ years of experience in Marketing Coordination, Project Management, or Event Planning, ideally within a B2B tech environment.
- Organizational Skills: Exceptional attention to detail with a proven ability to manage logistical checklists and deadlines.
- Executive Polish: Professional demeanor suitable for supporting "white-glove" events and communicating with internal executive stakeholders.
- Tool Proficiency: Familiarity with Salesforce, Demandbase and GSuite.
- Communication: Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
- Operational Agility: A "no task too small" mentality with the ability to pivot quickly in a fast-paced environment.
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Communications
Compensation
The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer, this is the pay range that Magnit (the staffing agency) reasonably expects to pay for this position: $45/ hour - $50/ hour.
