Role Description
This role is a contract assignment at Palo Alto Networks. Contractors will not be employed by Palo Alto Networks but through our trusted staffing partners.
Palo Alto Networks is looking for a Business Analyst III - Contractor to work with the IT org. This is a great opportunity for a talented individual who has the desire to associate with a fast-growing company in a truly international environment.
- Location - Santa Clara, CA (Hybrid) - Must be local to the SF Bay area to be onsite
- Duration - 5 months
Your Impact
- Own the delivery and quality of product specifications including product requirements, project epics and user stories. Own product backlogs to drive continuous improvements and product capabilities and features.
- Serve as a bridge among functions – business, R&D, IT Architecture, engineering, QA – ensuring seamless product development. Collaborate closely with engineering teams throughout the product life cycle
- Act as a domain expert and go-to leader within the organization
- Analyze case trends and engineering escalations to identify patterns, prioritize fixes, and influence the product backlog.
Skills & Experience
- 8+ years of product management or Business solution analysis experience in technology or IT CX
- Specific focus on Customer support and success, entitlement management, and consumption management
- Experience in or more of the following areas is a must: Entitlement management systems, subscription lifecycle management, usage tracking and metering, Customer support and success
- Working knowledge of billing models, integration with CRM, ERP, and billing systems.
- Strong technical background with understanding and/or hands on experience in software development, databases and SQL, cloud platforms, programming languages, and Microservices
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively articulate progress to diverse audiences
- Proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies, with experience leading sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
Education/Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Compensation
The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer, this is the pay range that Magnit (the staffing agency) reasonably expects to pay for this position: $65/hour to $70/hour. Please note that the compensation information in this posting reflects the hourly wage only and does not include benefits. Magnit offers Medical, Dental, Vision and 401K.
