Magnit Direct Sourcing on behalf of Toyota is currently hiring a Instructional Designer for a temporary assignment in Plano, Texas.

This is a 6-month contract. The pay range for this role is between $35.00- $40.00/Hr. Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K.

Description:

  • We're seeking a hands-on instructional designer and digital learning media specialist to design practical, engaging learning experiences that help employees confidently adopt Microsoft 365 tools and modern ways of working.
  • This role emphasizes video-based learning, microlearning, software demonstrations, job aids, and reusable digital learning assets more than traditional long-form eLearning development, though there may also be some eLearning development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • The Instructional Designer will be responsible for designing and developing engaging learning experiences that drive Microsoft 365 and technology adoption across the organization.
  • This role will assess learning needs, create instructional content, storyboards, and learning strategies, while producing high-quality videos, software demonstrations, animations, and microlearning assets.
  • The selected candidate will collaborate closely with trainers, subject matter experts, technical teams, and business stakeholders to ensure learning content is accurate, scalable, and aligned with organizational goals.
  • Responsibilities also include developing job aids, learning pathways, and eLearning resources; maintaining and updating content as technology evolves; analyzing learner feedback; and supporting project coordination activities to help advance Digital Dojo and enterprise enablement initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in instructional design, learning technologies, education, communications, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in instructional design, learning experience design, digital learning, corporate training, or technology enablement.
  • Experience designing learning content specifically for Microsoft 365 adoption, digital workplace transformation, modern collaboration, or technology change management.
  • Experience supporting Copilot adoption, AI literacy, responsible AI learning, or generative AI enablement.

Added Bonus:

  • Experience with BrainStorm, Viva Learning, LMS platforms (Cornerstone preferred), SharePoint, or equivalent learning/content delivery platforms.
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive learning design practices, including captioning, readable layouts, plain language, and accessible source files.
