Description:

Magnit Direct Sourcing on behalf of Toyota is currently hiring a Paint Seibi Technician for a temporary assignment in Georgetown, Kentucky.

This is a 12-month contract. The pay range for this role is between $35.00- $40.00/Hr. Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K.

Key Responsibilities:

Online Robot Programming – Sealer, UBC, and Dampening:

  • Perform online robot programming for Sealer, UBC, and Dampening applications.
  • Run trials and adjust process parameters as required.
  • Evaluate quality against drawings and ensure standards are met.

Online Robot Programming – Primer, Base, and Clear:

  • Perform online robot programming for Primer, Base, and Clear coat applications.
  • Run trials and adjust process parameters as required.
  • Evaluate quality against drawings and ensure standards are met.

Offline Robot Programming:

  • Use simulation software to create robot programs.
  • Perform reach studies.
  • Conduct cycle time analysis.

Evaluate Quality:

  • Use elco-meters, wave-scan and X-Rite

Create Hand Over Documents:

  • Create snapshots of the robot processes for the NAMC’s

Effective communications:

  • Must be able to use Microsoft Office and communicate with the written word

Qualifications: 

  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
  • Creative problem solver who thrives when presented with a challenge
  • Able to analyze problems and strategize for better solutions
  • Flexible and able to multitask on several different aspects of a project or on multiple projects
  • Able to take initiative to recommend projects, product improvements, or cost reductions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Education/Experience: 

  • Associate’s degree
  • 2 years technical degree or equivalent work experience

Added bonus:

  • Experience with automated robotic paint shop applications
  • PLC Programming (Toyopuc, Allen Bradley, Omron, etc)
  • Experience with Digital Engineering (Catia, Delmia, Solidworks, Inventor)
  • Additional related certifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field, or equivalent experience
