Art Director - Awards (Hybrid - On-site)
Job Summary
Marcom is Apple’s Global Marketing Communications group. We lead all of Apple’s advertising and marketing to ensure the detailed development and execution of extraordinary communications. The Apple TV+ Design Awards team manages the development and execution of core visual creative to be used across multi-platform awards campaigns for original programming. The role of Art Director (Awards) is experienced in capturing the essence and excellence of an entertainment property through imagery, layout, and impeccable typography. You have a deep love of Apple, a passion for television and film, and the ability to work both conceptually and hands-on with the team on fast-paced strategic marketing campaigns.
Key Qualifications
- 5-7 years art direction experience in the mediums of OOH, print, digital, social and motion.
- Shown experience to develop and guide thoughtful, meaningful, provocative creative with an extraordinary eye for detail.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Apple Keynote, and project management tools (ie Airtable, Trello, etc).
- Highly collaborative, with strong communication skills and the ability to articulate ideas in a clear and concise manner.
- Adept in time management and organization within a dynamic environment.
- Familiarity with industry-targeted advertising. Direct experience working on awards campaigns a plus.
Description
- Art directs, designs, reviews, and executes creative for awards campaigns for tv+ original series and films.
- Engages with management, partners, and peer level creative teams to develop creative across the breadth and length of an awards campaign.
- Presents work to senior creative, strategy partners, cross functional business teams, and external stakeholders.
- Guides communication with external creative partners, providing creative direction and revisions.
- Monitors campaign progress along with creative producer against schedules and campaign deadlines.
- Works across disciplines to review and guide creative and strategies for cross-functional partners - such as media, online, retail, channel, social, events, advertising and new mediums of communication.

Bachelors degree or equivalent
