Vendor Compliance Program Manager
Job Summary:
The Vendor Compliance Program Manager is responsible for overseeing policies and ways of working with our internal and external vendors. This role reports to Vendor Management Governance and collaborates with stakeholders across Apple to establish methodologies and best practices as it applies to onboarding new vendors, risk assessments, compliance monitoring, and vendor audits.
Job Description:
- Collaborates with internal stakeholders to create a robust vendor onboarding, monitoring, and auditing plan ensuring alignment with company policy and regulatory standards.
- Establishes a cadence for risk evaluations and assessments.
- Participates in authoring vendor policies and processes ensuring vendors and our teams understand and adhere to compliance expectations.
- Educate and provide training to vendors on how to partner with Marcom as they engage resources for project based roles.
- Establish and maintain detailed records of compliance audits, assessments, and communications with vendors.
- Builds KPIs and creates reports for audits, ensuring that this is well documented and securely maintained.
Key Qualifications:
- Experience in managing cross-functional projects and compliance initiatives.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to clearly articulate compliance requirements, policies, and training material.
- Possess extraordinary organizational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail in documentation and reporting accuracy.
Key Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in vendor, compliance, or risk program management.
- Proven experience in developing or managing vendor compliance programs or vendor performance evaluations.
