In this assignment, you will be working with Coinbase through our Managed Service Provider—partnering with one of the most influential cryptocurrency companies in history, dedicated to empowering their customers’ success through innovative solutions.

 

• Salesforce development and operations for the Base CRM instance: profiles, permission sets, page layouts, list views, validation rules, Flows, Apex triggers/classes, reports & dashboards
• Sit directly with Base sub-teams (Events, BD/Spindl/Builder/Eco, Product, Global Growth) to gather requirements and turn ambiguous, cross-functional asks into clear specs and working configuration
• Manage data quality and deduplication across partner/account records sourced from spreadsheets, nReach, base.dev/Snowflake syncs, and manual entry
• Build and maintain Flows, Apex triggers/classes, Lightning Web Components, list views, and custom enhancements supporting pipeline tracking (Opportunities), contact/account management, and Slack-based workflows
• Support and troubleshoot the Slack ↔ Salesforce integration (querying and updating partner records without leaving Slack)
• Drive adoption across ~75 users spanning four distinct business teams — training, documentation, office hours, proactive communication
• Triage and help prioritize the enhancement backlog in partnership with the EM/PM
• Independently handle most Apex-level customization and integration work (Snowflake, Slack, base.dev); partner with the team's SFDC engineers only on deep architecture or platform-level decisions
• Maintain sandboxes, support UAT, and validate changes ahead of release
• 4+ years of hands-on Salesforce experience with Apex/JS development as a core strength
• Hands-on experience with AI dev tools and terminal-based coding agents (e.g. Claude Code, Cursor) to accelerate day-to-day configuration and Apex development
• Platform Developer I certification strongly preferred (Platform Developer II a plus)
• Proven ability to both configure declaratively (Flows, validation rules, permission sets, page layouts, list views, reports/dashboards) and write production-quality Apex — triggers, classes, batch/queueable jobs, unit tests — without heavy engineering support
• Excellent written and verbal communication — you're comfortable running requirements conversations directly with non-technical BD/Partnerships/Growth/Events stakeholders and managing their expectations
• Experience working across multiple business teams with competing, shifting priorities
• Experience consolidating/deduplicating data from multiple messy sources
• High ownership, comfortable operating independently in a small, agile team
• Based in North America; able to work core Eastern Time collaboration hours

Nice to have

• Experience supporting BD, partnerships, or growth teams specifically
• Familiarity with Slack workflow/App integrations
• Basic familiarity with Snowflake or a data warehouse
• Experience in crypto/Web3 or a fast-moving startup-like environment

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field — or equivalent professional experience.
