This is a contract role through Magnit for Consumers Energy in Jackson, Michigan.   This role is hybrid to Jackson and requires reporting 2-3 days a week onsite.

Job Overview:

The technical analyst will be responsible for delivering PowerBI dashboards and flowing data thru the HVD Program Mgmt organization across a multitude of projects and business functions. They will also be responsible with documenting and maintaining a data flow map to describe and visualize the flow of data internally. This individual will be well-versed in optimal dashboard design, creating queries that render efficient visualizations. Power Query expertise highly desired. SQL proficiency highly desired.  Python expertise a plus. 

Requirements:

Technical analysts must have excellent interpersonal skills, as they may work internally or externally depending on their projects.

 It is vital they are proficient in database technologies and dashboard designs. 

Must be able to deliver work in a timely fashion to support Program Management decision-making.

Power Query expertise highly desired. SQL proficiency highly desired.  Python expertise a plus.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or Engineering preferred. 3-5 year’s experience preferred.  

Hourly Pay Rate Range (dependent on location, experience, expectation)

The pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay for this position is: $ 42-50/hr
