This is a contract role through Magnir for Consumers Energy in Jackson, Michigan.  This role is remote in the United States EXCEPT the following states listed below:

Arkansas, California, Colorado, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, New York, North Dakota, Wisconsin.

The Project Manager will play a crucial role in supporting operational communications and ensuring seamless execution of Brand and Creative projects. This position is responsible for end-to-end project management, vendor coordination, and process optimization, with a focus on delivering high-quality creative assets on time and within scope.
 

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Operational Communications Support
  • Compile address lists with necessary formatting for direct and email campaigns.
  • Coordinate the execution of direct mail and email sends, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Collaborate with external vendors to manage production schedules and deliverables.
• Project Management
  • Oversee the development and delivery of marketing assets, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines.
  • Manage project timelines, stakeholder expectations, and approvals from internal teams.
  • Identify potential risks and proactively resolve issues to maintain quality and efficiency.
• Process Creation & Optimization
• Develop and refine workflows to streamline creative and operational communications processes.
• Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements.
• Maintain project documentation and ensure proper tracking of deliverables.

Requirements:

• Excellent communications and interpersonal skills; ability to work with a diverse group of individuals ranging from engineers to creative writers. 
• Strong understanding of communications processes, including direct mail and email marketing.
• Proficiency in project management tools.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong vendor management experience and negotiation skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Familiarity with data formatting and CRM platforms for marketing communications.
• PMP or related project management certification.
• Experience in the energy industry a plus.

Hourly Pay Rate Range (dependent on location, experience, expectation)

The pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay for this position is: $ 38-45/hr
