Job Title: R&D Engineer - Expert
Position Details:
- 100% onsite at 1400 Fountain Grove Parkway, Santa Rosa, CA 95403.
- Work Schedule: Monday thru Friday, 8 AM - 4:30 PM (40 hours/week).
- Approximately 24-months contract (Target Start/End Date: 09/22/2025 - 08/30/2027).
Responsibilities:
- As a manufacturing engineer, you will develop sustainable manufacturing process tooling and machines to achieve tight tolerance in precision package assemblies, transfer molded parts and, magnetic devices.
- Your duties may also include, troubleshooting process issues, and root cause analysis.
- Documentation creation and maintenance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering or applicable sciences, 2-5+ years of applicable experience in precision assembly, manufacturing, and design (part design, tool design, and/or process development). This role requires a combination of technical knowledge, engineering theory and a hands-on approach to manufacturing.
- Working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Working knowledge of thermal processing technology.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to prioritize day to day activities balancing immediate needs with long term project goals.
- Solid modeling experience (preferably in Siemens NX CAD).
- Familiarity with RF, microwave, and mm wave applications.
- Experience with mechanical electronic products.
- Experience in process improvement.
- Experience with mechatronics and system design.
Pay Transparency:
- This is the pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay someone for this position is $50.00/hour - $55.00/hour W-2.
