Job Overview:
The client is looking for a Talent Acquisition Coordinator (6-month contract with no defined end date) to join our People & Places Team, reporting to the manager of Talent Acquisition Operations. In this role, you will support recruitment and onboarding efforts, be the go-to person for new hire questions, and assist with Talent Acquisition and Operations projects and programs. What you’ll do:
- Schedule complex candidate interviews for our North America based Talent Acquisition team
- Prepare and send out candidate offer letters using our applicant tracking system and electronic document system
- Onboard new hires using our human capital management system and track required pre-hire task completion
- Build strong working relationships with recruiters, hiring managers, and candidates across multiple time zones
- Participate in various recruiting projects on an as-needed basis
- Provide general administrative support to the Talent Acquisition and Operations teams
- Potentially host and present new hire orientation on a weekly, ongoing basis
- Adhere to the highest degree of professionalism and strict confidentiality in matters that require discretion.
What you’ll bring:
- Minimum 2-3 years of HR experience
- Interest in continuous improvement to help drive and implement process changes
- Bachelor’s degree is required. Preference is for degree to be in business administration/human resources or similar but any bachelors degree is fine.
- Prior experience in a technology company is strongly preferred and candidates with this experience will be considered over other candidates
- Keen attention to detail to catch even minor errors and a “roll up your sleeves” attitude to get tactical tasks done with the ability to be able to pivot when necessary
- Outstanding credibility with demonstrated ability to inspire trust throughout the organization
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
- Impeccable integrity, including sound judgment and professionalism, as well as a forthright approach and willingness to give and receive open feedback to improve leadership and ensure business success
- Excellent technology skills, including Microsoft Apps, Oracle HCM and Recruiting Cloud.
- Ability to build credible relationships with all stakeholders
- Ability to operate in a positive, helpful, and proactive manner
What Success Looks Like:
After six months, you will…
- Understand the end-to-end recruiting and onboarding systems, processes, and tools like Oracle HCM and Recruiting Cloud
- Successfully onboard new hires with a high degree of autonomy
- Have strong relationships with internal stakeholders
Hourly Pay Rate Range (dependent on location, experience, expectation)
The pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay for this position is: $25-$28/hr
