Job Summary
This role requires onsite schedule on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays with a remote schedule on Mondays and Fridays. This role requires experience with processing HNW (High Net Worth - (USD)1MM+) loans. The ideal candidate is articulate and well-spoken with a strong customer service background.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Obtains required third-party loan documentation and may process less complex loan applications.
- Orders third-party services.
- Verifies loan files and supporting documents for accuracy and completeness. Follows up on missing documentation. Ensures all documentation is completed within a timely manner by the deadline.
- Prepares and compiles documents for review and approval.
- Prepares and reviews disclosures for accuracy.
- May perform basic loan calculations.
- Demonstrates quality level in line with internal compliance audits.
- Interacts with mortgage consultants and third-party vendors.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Very professional demeanor.
- Experience with Encompass software is a huge plus.
- Experience with Mortgage Cadence POS system background preferred.
- 1-2 years of retail mortgage loan processing experience.
- Experience managing a pipeline of between 40-50 loans at a time.
- Understanding of TRID Regulatory Guidelines.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Technical and/or organizational skills required.
- Experience using Excel and SharePoint.
- Clear and professional written and oral communication skills for internal and external partners.
- Ability to multi-task within a fast-paced environment.
- Loan processing and/or closing experience is preferred.
- Minimum of High School Diploma or GED.
This is the pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay for this position: $17.25/hour - $23.00/hour
