Description:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provides front-line data maintenance, reconciliation and resolution of issues resulting from data loading through the investment management, executive, client servicing and sales processes.
  • Researches, identifies and resolves issues related to the collection of data from internal and third parties providers.
  • Maintains regular contact with internal consumers to identify, research and resolve issues.
  • Collaborates with other data associates to help resolve or remedy data discrepancies.
  • Provides timely escalation of data discrepancies to the manager or stakeholder for clarification or resolution. Tracks all escalated discrepancies until remedied.
  • Works closely with the manager and stakeholders to identify and define required data attributes and data controls to develop active data workflows.
  • Maintains appropriate department documentation (job procedures, job aids, checklists, etc.).
  • Tracks and monitors key data quality metrics.
  • Provides subject matter expertise for data related projects.
  • Proposes process improvements related to the maintenance of data.
  • Assists in coordinating workflow of all functional areas within the department
  • Actively supports and participates in the department’s business continuity plan.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (B.A) in a related field and a minimum of two (2) or more years’ experience in asset management operations/technology or financial data operations.

Knowledge of

  • Asset management industry, concepts, practices and procedures
  • Excel at intermediate or advanced level

Skill in

  • Learning and applying new information, skills and processes quickly
  • Above average problem solving
  • Organization and attention to detail sufficient to prioritize multiple tasks while working in a fast-paced dynamically changing environment
  • Operating standard office equipment and using required software applications to produce correspondence, reports, electronic communication, spreadsheets, and databases.

This is the pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay for this position: $25.86/hour - $34.48/hour
