User Experience Product Owner – Jira Cloud
Location: Remote CST or on site Flex St. Louis, MO | Team: Value Delivery Management
We’re seeking a User Experience Product Owner to champion the user experience within our Agile workflow tools—primarily Jira Cloud. This role is critical in ensuring that users are supported through system enhancements, training, and ongoing guidance. You’ll serve as the voice of the customer, translating user needs into actionable improvements that align with Agile best practices and organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
● Act as the primary advocate for Jira Cloud users, ensuring their needs are reflected in tool enhancements and Agile process alignment.
● Collaborate with Jira Cloud Product Owners and Product Management leadership to prioritize work that delivers maximum value.
● Provide training, guidance, and support to users, ensuring smooth adoption of new features and changes.
● Analyze user feedback and operational impacts to inform tool improvements and sustain a positive user experience.
● Decompose features into user stories and acceptance criteria with a focus on usability and customer impact.
● Support backlog prioritization and ensure stories clearly communicate stakeholder needs to the Scrum team.
● Identify and escalate inter-team dependencies and prioritization challenges.
● Participate in customer support efforts and continuously seek ways to enhance the tool experience.
● Lead on-boarding support for new hires, including asset coordination and content development.
● Monitor trends and disruptions in Agile practices and tooling to proactively address user needs.
Qualifications
● 3+ years of hands-on experience with Agile workflow tools (Jira Cloud strongly preferred).
● Proven experience as a Product Owner or in a similar Agile leadership role.
● Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and frameworks (SAFe certification a plus).
● Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage technical and non-technical audiences.
● Demonstrated ability to work independently, solve complex problems, and drive change in ambiguous environments.
● Experience with training design, user on-boarding, and cross-functional collaboration.
● Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect and interpret data to improve productivity and reduce costs.
● Project management experience, including managing multiple timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder expectations.

Hourly Pay Rate Range (dependent on location, experience, expectation)
The pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay for this position is: $67.00/hour-$78.00/hour
