Description:

This position is a temporary assignment. As a contractor, you’ll be employed by Magnit, not The Cigna Group or any subsidiaries of The Cigna Group.

 

Agile Product Management serves as the internal voice of the customer. Defines system features and participates in validation. Responsible for the scope of work that the Agile Release Train (ART) will complete, and the vision and roadmap for the Agile Release Train (ART). Must be aware of other work being completed within the Portfolio so that they can help teams proactively manage risks and dependencies. The incumbent provides expert content/professional leadership on complex assignments/projects. Exercises considerable creativity, foresight, and judgment in conceiving, planning, and delivering initiatives. Uses deep professional knowledge and acumen to advise functional leaders. Focuses on providing thought leadership but works on broader projects, which require understanding of wider business. Recognized internally as a subject matter expert.

  • Proactive and takes an active role in understanding the business case, and desired future state
  • Leverages knowledge of the product’s value stream and system interactions to identify when new features or product changes are needed to achieve business value.
  • Has a sound understanding of breaking down a problem/ ask to requirements. Understands the aspects of well-rounded requirements 
  • Communicates stakeholder goals and expected outcomes to the engineering/ Solution Architect/ Principal engineering team and writes definition-of-ready user stories, incorporating architectural changes recommended by engineering.
  • Facilitates product backlog grooming sessions. Has overall ownership of a defined capability or technical product area, including product value, cost of ownership, health and non-functional requirements (reliability, scalability, usability, security, performance, etc.).
  • Leads sprint planning , story refinement , feature elaboration sessions with business and technology stakeholders. Actively participates in planning sessions that form cohesive, iterative plans and ensure the team’s work creates the iterative value
  • Participates in team standups, and retrospectives, facilitates dialog with stakeholders during sprint reviews/product demos.
  • Manages allocation of team capacity to ensure appropriate levels are utilized for product health improvements and reduction of technical debt 
  •  Leverages agility tools (e.g., Jira) and implements strategies to optimize team performance and achieve overall department objectives

5-8 years relevant experience; i.e., business analysis and/or technology development

  • Experience in Pharmacy  area
  • Experience in building solutions with AI/ML offerings
  • Experience working in an agile environment preferred
  • PC skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office, Agile tools (Jira, Rally), Business Process Modeling tools
  • Ability to handle analysis from issue identification to proposal of potential solutions
  • Strong business and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated initiative with commitment and ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent technical, analytical, presentation skills and communication skills required.
  • Ability to effectively operate within a fast pace, dynamic organization
  • Ability to influence and build strong relationship across the organization
  • Proven ability to work in a team environment

Education: Bachelor Degree required

Hourly Pay Rate Range (dependent on location, experience, expectation)  

The pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay for this position is: $40.00/hour-$52.00/hour
