This position is a temporary assignment. As a contractor, you’ll be employed by Magnit, not The Cigna Group or any subsidiaries of The Cigna Group.

Key Responsibilities: 
●  Expense and budget management: oversee operating expenses, staffing, and planning, including conducting monthly and quarterly financial reviews, forecasts, and budget consolidation.  Use source system applications to research PO’s, invoices, and contracts as part of monthly liability submission.  Provide monthly commentary for multiple dimensions of analysis including Actuals vs Forecast and Full Year Forecast vs Budget.

●  Financial Analysis and Insights: Lead the financial analysis of business cases, capacity model reviews, and portfolio spend management. Perform financial modeling, sensitivity analysis, and scenario planning to assess financial impact and recommend value-creating opportunities.

●  Strategic Decision Support: Act as a proactive financial advisor by creating scorecards and metrics to guide senior leadership on performance insights and strategic direction. Partner with functional leaders to explore trade-off options and align financial strategy with business objectives.

●  Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with financial counterparts across segments to ensure alignment and clear understanding of financial allocations impacting the Evernorth P&L. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to contribute to initiatives focused on modernizing processes and driving operational efficiencies.  

Qualifications and Critical Competencies:

●  Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field

●  MBA preferred

●  Financial/Accounting background is KEY including budgeting and forecasting.

●  Proficient in financial tools (OnePlan, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access)

●  Some experience with Workday, Ariba, Oracle would be preferred.

●  Strong written and verbal communication skills

●  Strategic Business Partner – develops partnerships to serve as a trusted business advisor

●  Organizational Agility – ability to navigate formal and informal channels to connect the dots.

●  Bias for Action – proactive advisor to leadership / assess emerging trends and results.

Hourly Pay Rate Range (dependent on location, experience, expectation) 

The pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay for this position is: $35.00/hour-$40.00/hour
