Role Description

This role is a contract assignment at Palo Alto Networks. Contractors will not be employed by Palo Alto Networks but through our trusted staffing partners.  

Palo Alto Networks is looking for a GTM Manager - Contractor to work with the Enterprise Agreement GTM team and is a great opportunity for a talented individual who has the desire to associate with a fast-growing company in a truly international environment.

  • Location - Santa Clara, CA (Hybrid) Preferred
  • Duration -  6 months 

 

As a GTM Manager(Contract)  you will directly and visibly contribute to our overall success and daily operations within the Enterprise Agreement GTM team and will report to the Director, CDSS GTM. 

This role is pivotal to the success of the organization, is collaborative in nature, and will continue to flex and grow as the organization matures. If you are a self-starter who thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments with minimal supervision this is the role for you

Your Impact

  • Identify and pursue high-potential accounts, collaborating closely with the field to drive GTM programs and plays, including discovery and proposal development
  • Develop and deliver scaled enablement on our Enterprise Agreements, sales process, and best practices
  • Work cross-functionally across Product, Marketing, Sales, Sales Ops to drive Enterprise Agreement strategies and sales programs
  • Analyze data to develop strategies and recommendations, and build compelling presentations for various audiences, including executive leadership
  • Drive predictable forecasting, measure success, and report on performance

 

Your Experience

 

  • 7+ years of GTM Strategy, Sales Strategy, Sales Operations or equivalent experience
  • Preferred 2+ years in top management consulting, private equity, top-tier tech strategy / “bizops” functions or GTM programs
  • Preferred 2+ years experience in SaaS, B2B technology and/or cybersecurity
  • Sales / Sales Support - Experience working directly with customers and collaborating with sales teams to create proposals and negotiate
  • Leadership - Proven experience in influencing sales teams and managing projects
  • Go-To-Market (GTM) Strategy - Experience in developing and executing GTM strategies for SaaS solutions, including market analysis, product positioning, and customer engagement
  • Excellent Communication - Ability to convey security and commercial concepts to both internal and external stakeholders, and ability to deliver exec-level messages 

Education

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Strategy, or a related field; MBA preferred.

We engage with Fortune 1000 customers to achieve a platformization transformation. In this role, you will drive success by leading and collaborating with cross-functional teams composed of sales leaders, solution consultants, and representatives from various business units and functional groups. This role offers a platform to showcase your expertise in sales strategy, consultative discovery, and engagement execution. You’ll excel in areas such as business analysis, problem solving, program management, executive communication and consensus building. 

Compensation

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location.  For candidates who receive an offer,this is the pay range that Magnit (the staffing agency) reasonably expects to pay for this position: $95/hour to $100/hour. Please note that the compensation information in this posting reflects the hourly wage only and does not include benefits.  Magnit offers Medical, Dental, Vision and 401K.
