Role Description

This role is a contract assignment at Palo Alto Networks. Contractors will not be employed by Palo Alto Networks but through our trusted staffing partners.  

Palo Alto Networks is looking for a Business Analyst I- Contractor to work with the Cloud and Cortex Product Strategy and Operations team and is a great opportunity for a talented individual who has the desire to associate with a fast-growing company in a truly international environment.

• Location - USA Remote (Preferred hours in CST)
• Duration -  12 months 

As a Business Analyst I (Contractor) you will directly and visibly contribute to our overall success and daily operations within the Cloud and Cortex Product Strategy and Operations team and will report to the Director of the Cloud and Cortex Product Strategy and Operations team.

This role is pivotal to the success of the organization, is collaborative in nature, and will continue to flex and grow as the organization matures. If you are a self-starter who thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments with minimal supervision this is the role for you

Your Impact

• In this job you will be an extension of Cortex Team to provide back-office support. You will be responsible for managing sales support activities with accuracy and speed.
• Each request for assistance from an Account Manager is prioritized for completion based on revenue acquisition, customer relationship building, and other forms of determining timing requirements. These items may include:
  • Support with IT tickets and follow-ups
  • Quoting assistance
  • 1:1 enablement sessions

Your Experience

• 2-3 years of related experience sales support, or sales operations environment preferred
• Excellent written and verbal skills & ability to communicate with different groups within PANW
• Proficiency with Google products, Salesforce & experience in CRM system strongly preferred (CPQ and Steelbrick)
• Organized with demonstrated initiative - must be able to independently handle and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment to ensure timelines are met

Education

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience required.

Compensation

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location.  For candidates who receive an offer,this is the pay range that Magnit (the staffing agency) reasonably expects to pay for this position: $45/hour to $50/hour. Please note that the compensation information in this posting reflects the hourly wage only and does not include benefits.  Magnit offers Medical, Dental, Vision and 401K.
